Athletic Therapy is a health care profession that specializes in the prevention, assessment, and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries utilizing a variety of exercise protocols and manual techniques.
In addition to exercises, an Athletic Therapist may also use one or more of the following modalities to assist in the recovery of an injury:

Interferential current
Ultrasound
Muscle stimulation
LASER

Randy is a Certified Athletic Therapist with over 30 years of field and clinical experience. He has worked with the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Canadian National Ski Team, the Ontario Provincial Soccer Team and was the Head Therapist for both the Toronto Argonauts and the Canadian National Gymnastics Team. He has represented Canada at several World Championships, the Pan Am Games and the Olympic Games. Randy also provides first aid and therapy services for the Grand Slam of Curling each year. In addition to working at Movement Matters, Randy is also the Head Therapist for the jockeys at Woodbine Racetrack.

Randy believes that educating his clients and treating the root cause of an injury is the key to an effective recovery and the prevention of recurrence.
